At MOSSYROCK WAGYU
We raise all our animals on year-round grass pastures, supplemented daily with hay and a special grain blend, vitamins and mineral tub nutrients always available for browsing, an abundance of natural artesian water to drink, then grain finished in their final six months to bring out that world famous marbling that Wagyu are known for. We never use hormones or antibiotics. When taken to processing, our animals are all handled the same way. After unloading, they are allowed a couple days rest to settle down after the transport. Then slaughtered and butchered under USDA or WSDA guidelines depending on your needs. Flash frozen and vacuum-sealed packaged by our butcher guaranteeing the freshest beef you ever will eat.
LIVE ANIMALS
We are taking pre-slaughter deposits for Full, Half, and Quarter bulk beef orders. Our next estimated processing date is January, 2027. By placing a deposit to secure your order on the next animals we will be processing, you’ll save 17% off our current price of a post-butcher bulk order.
What you get:
Your cost: $7.85/lb-$8.85/lb USDA ($7.55/lb-$8.55/lb WSDA) live weight.
Your price includes butchering, packaging, and Shipping within 250 miles. Airport to airport shipping can be arranged at an additional cost. Expect your animal to weigh between 1100-1200lb and you will get first choice of available animals. Choose how your order is cut on Full and Half orders – more roasts, more steaks, more ground beef…your choice! On Full orders, you will also get the heart, liver, tongue, ox tail, soup bones, and tallow fat if you want.
Whole Shares expect to average 700lbs hgw, 450lbs packaged incl ~180lbs grd beef.
Half Shares expect average 350lbs hgw, 225lbs packaged incl ~90lbs grd beef.
Quarter Shares expect average 175lbs hgw, 115lbs packaged incl ~45lbs grd beef.
Final Price based on live weight less Deposit at time of pickup. Deposit hold on live animals is 50% refundable up to day before processing.
